Well for the longest I’ve been saying to myself, I really need to start a writing series. And yesterday I set my Personal Assistant to remind me to review my February goals, so I wouldn’t forget them halfway through the month, like January’s. And one of them was to step up my blogging on here. There’s so much I can blog about with the site and the updates, so I’ve kind of come to a stall. Well since I was taking a break from creative writing ( I just updated CM: Book I), I started thinking of some topics I could start with. I thought I would come up with about five or so, but after some serious brainstorming at 4 in the morning I came up with a nice starting list. I’m going to list them here, just to give you a preview of things to come.

1. Cliche Characters: My Thoughts on Them and More

2. Working Through a Writer’s Block

3. Outlining vs. Free Form Writing: Using Them in Your Writings

4. Character Development: Getting to Know Your Characters

5. Character Development: Getting to Know Your Characters Part II

6. Plots: Creating a Solid and Unique Plot

7. Setting Development: How to Create a Believable Setting

8. Genre Writing: Breaking Down the Labels

9. Creating Dynamic Conversations

10. Erotica vs Pornography: Yes There’s a Difference!

11. Getting through Personally Uncomfortable Scenes

12. Finding Your Writing Style and Excelling in It

13. Experience Required?:Writing What You Know and What You Don’t Know

14. Inspiration 101

Plus an ongoing series: Book Reviews

This is just for starters, as I come up with new ones I’ll update this list. I’ll also link to the individual post as they come about. If you know of a topic you would like my opinion on then comment here and let me know.

Until next time, happy writings!

  1. I just wanted to say that I have found the first few installments in this series very interesting and useful. I can’t wait to see the rest of the series!
