This is the sixth post in the Writing Series. To learn more about the series see this post.
Sometimes things hit me well after they should have. I’ve talked about characters and outlining your story, and I’ve even gone over writer’s block, but I haven’t discussed plots. You have to have a plot to a story [...]

And it’s official I’m done. I just completed the short story A Season of Change. 10,989 was the total word count at the end of it all. I posted the results on FP. I don’t know what I’m going to do for the extra day I have of the challenge. I know one thing I’m [...]

So checking in on the writing challenge and I’m glad to report I’ve past the 6,000 mark.
6,607.
AND I’m still not done. The story has become more complicated than I first imagined. That’s what I get for not really planning it out. I wrote again for five hours, but I took a break in between to [...]

Day one of the Easter Writing Challenge. Just to remind you, it’s a challenge to write 6,000 words in 4 days. And the results for day one are:
5,021 words.
So much for challenge huh? I started around 5 and kept writing till 10, when I stopped to get food. Even though I’m that close to the [...]

I needed really do a weekly update but I’m going to anyway. This week I’ve had to deal with an art theft attempt and then some unsure reviews and all before I’m doing a writing challange.

Markus

18Mar08

Jade

17Mar08

I posted the complete story of Jade on FP…
I’ve gotten some interesting reviews on Markus, a mixture. I’ll write up a post about them tomorrow.
One thing I dislike about FP is that you can’t see the authors response to the reviews.

*sorry my brains a little dead right now*
Sometimes it takes a disaster to make you appreciate what you have. I want to thank all those people who sent emails and messages to me about yesterday’s post. I really appreciate it. I’m still bouncing the proverbial ball back on whether or not I want to go [...]

Right now it’s raining cats and dogs while the sun is shinning bright. It suits me and the mood I find myself in.
I’ll save the good news for last…so the bad news:
Earlier today I was made aware of the fact that one of my one shots had been published on a different writing archive site, [...]

As per the last post, I updated on Fictionpress.
Last just say now I remember why I love that site ever so much. In less than 12 hours I got 14 response via email and there was a major (MAJOR!) surge in views to my website and this blog. So if you are coming over from [...]
