*sorry my brains a little dead right now*

Sometimes it takes a disaster to make you appreciate what you have. I want to thank all those people who sent emails and messages to me about yesterday’s post. I really appreciate it. I’m still bouncing the proverbial ball back on whether or not I want to go back to FictionPress full time, or keep the site. I want to do one or the other but I’m not going to do both. I’m not going to publish full length novels on either one, because I work way to hard on those to let them get stolen. I work hard on all my writings, but my one-shots are scene studies and are from the top of my head, just keep writing…no matter if it sucks and don’t make since. Do them when I get an idea to play around type of things. So I’m tied to them but not tied to them. Make sense?

Yes I know that it was one of my one shots that was kidnapped and posed for someone else, and yes I was crushed, not because of what was stolen (that played a part) but more so because someone had done it.

I need a place to post some of my writings, only because I have no one here to read it and give me comments on it. I’m committing to posting the one shots and short stories, mainly because I know a lot of authors who have free reads that consist of first draft short stories, that were drastically changed after a rewrite several years later and short scenes (one shots). So yeah… which one?

Well I reposted H.P. on FictionPress because I took it off the site, and it’s a short story. I also posted another one shot Markus (sequel to Natalia by the way because so many people asked for it so nicely…^_^). It’s so much easier to update FictionPress. I mean I upload the chapter and add it to a story or start a new one. But then again there’s that whole highlight and copy thing, plus you can download the chapters if you so chosed.

With the site, I had to change the documents to PDF files, upload them to the file manager, hope that the site wasn’t being stupid and let me upload it. Then go into the site and add links, again hope it doesn’t get stupid, hope that it doesn’t freeze. Check to make sure the link worked. Then the thing was still at risk. But with the site I could control how the story looked, if I wanted it to be pink text I could have it be pink text. If I wanted it to have a pumpkin border, then it did (I never did that but I could if I wanted too.)

So the conclusion is…I don’t know. I do know that I’m coming off as being fickle about stuff…when that so isn’t the case. I usually stick to one thing…and have a hell of time being convinced to do something else. I’ve had a personal online journal for over five years, then I had to erase it because someone was trying to use it to get me fired. I don’t see me leaving this journal anytime soon, so that’s something, right?

Anyway, I’m heading off to bed. I just finished Markus, I’ve been working on that since yesterday morning and it’s almost midnight.
